These resources foster academic success, research excellence, and operational innovation—ensuring that the entire Arizona community can engage with AI in ethical, creative, and effective ways.
 


AI Tools & Platforms

  • Zoom AI Companion: AI-enabled meeting summaries, smart recordings, and chat assistance. Faculty decide if this tool is used in courses. Learn more
  • Microsoft Copilot: A privacy-protected AI assistant embedded in Microsoft 365. Use it via Bing or Windows Copilot with your UA NetID to draft text, answer questions, and more. Learn more.
  • AI Verde: A privacy-aware platform for teaching and research. Offers customizable models and a secure chat interface hosted on university infrastructure. Learn more.
  • CyVerse: An open science cloud platform offering AI/ML tools, data visualization, and high-powered computation. Learn more.
  • AI Zone – Portable Exhibit: A traveling, hands-on demonstration lab that showcases real-world AI applications. Available for classroom integration and campus events. Learn more
  • Adobe Firefly & Creative Cloud: As an Adobe Creative Campus, U of A offers generative AI tools for image and text creation within Photoshop, Express, and Illustrator. Access with your UA Adobe login.

Training, Access & Support Resources

  • SALT Center – AI & Ed Tech Workshops and guidance on responsible AI use, tailored for student learning. Includes support for tools like Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT.
  • Disability Resource Center (DRC) Provides AI accessibility guidance, including captioning, screen readers, and assistive technologies to ensure equitable access for all users.
  • UA Libraries – AI Guides Learn about AI tools, ethics, citations, and responsible usage through the “AI Literacy in the Age of ChatGPT” resource hub and subject-specific guides.
  • AI within Healthcare Guide
  • UCATT – Teaching with AI A faculty-focused portal featuring syllabus templates, academic integrity guidance, training modules, and videos for integrating AI into instruction.
  • UITS Access Provisioning Tool Request access to various university systems and services, including AI tools, through the University Information Technology Services portal.
