U of A Student Interns Go to Work with AI Projects

At the University of Arizona, 60 students recently completed a summer internship program focused on leveraging artificial intelligence through the AI Core and Design Lab. These students explored various applications of AI, from educational tools for toddlers to advanced surgical simulations, even creating an interactive AI-powered cactus to assist with questions about local attractions. The program not only immersed them in cutting-edge technology but also provided them with hands-on experience in a startup environment, highlighting the potential of AI in shaping future careers.
