These principles focus on ensuring safe and effective systems, protecting against algorithmic discrimination, safeguarding data privacy, providing clear notice and explanation of how AI systems work, and offering human alternatives and fallback solutions. This initiative represents a significant step toward responsible and ethical AI implementation, reflecting President Biden’s commitment to equity and civil liberties in the age of digital technology.
